Living Out the Radical Command of Jesus to 'Love Your Neighbor as Yourself'

In the fall of 2019, 98 churches participated in a 3-week, city-wide unified sermon series, challenging over 60,000 people to radically live out Jesus’ command to love your neighbor as yourself. This series launched a city-wide neighboring movement, mobilizing the collective body of Christ in our city and was a public statement of the unity of the Church in Charlotte.

The goal of this unified sermon series was to inspire and equip believers to become neighborhood catalysts that move themselves and others from; Strangers to Acquaintances, and from Acquaintances to Relationship.

Due to the tremendous response locally and inquiry of churches from outside of the Charlotte area, we have decided to make the resources from this initiative available to other churches and cities. You can request The Art of Neighboring resources below.
