God is stirring honest questions about faith all across our city. FORCLT and Alpha are partnering to bring a citywide Alpha to Greater Charlotte in response.
A place to explore faith, honestly.
Alpha is a series of relaxed sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith. Every gathering has three simple parts: a shared meal, a short talk on one honest question about life and faith, and open conversation where no question is off the table.
It is free, low-pressure, and built for real conversation.
People with honest questions.
Alpha is open to anyone, but it is designed for people outside the church. The neighbor with real questions and nowhere safe to ask them. The friend who is curious about Jesus but would never walk into a Sunday service to find out more.
It is especially for people in seasons of change: a new job, a move, a loss, a growing family, when the big questions tend to surface.
A simple way to welcome the far-off.
Most people far from God are not looking for a service to attend. They are looking for a conversation they can trust. Alpha gives your church a simple, repeatable way to offer exactly that.
It shifts the culture of a church toward curiosity, hospitality, and genuine welcome. And when it runs citywide, no church carries it alone. We pray, train, and share the load together.
Eat. Listen. Talk. Repeat.
A full Alpha is eleven weekly sessions, plus one Weekend or Day Away in the middle. The rhythm stays the same each week, and it works best wherever real conversation feels natural: a home, a coffee shop, a restaurant, or a warm church space.
Leaders are trained before you begin, and in a citywide launch, churches train and launch together.
Starting with a Fall 2026 pilot, building toward a citywide Alpha in 2027. Let us know if you have interest by completing the form below.
